Proper Feedback, Necessary for the CommunityWhat makes good feedback/criticismProper Feedback, Necessary for the Community by statichavoc
1. Be short and to the point but not overly simple
2. Pull out key elements of the piece and tell how they impact you (negatively or positively)
3. Suggest improvements, don't be all-knowing
4. Write WHY you wanted to comment on the piece
Answer the questions:
Why do I like/dislike this piece?
What made me click on the thumbnail?
What do I like most about this piece?
What do I dislike most about this piece?
What could make this better?
How did the piece make you feel or react?
Are short blurbs about how cool a deviation is worth reading?
Yes and No. It does have some small value to the one receiving the comment because it (barely) assures them that they are doing work that people like. I believe a simple "+fav" (and actually faving a work) is more beneficial than "dudzors this is soooo cool"... because the later doesn't offer any insight as to why the person thought it was cool. Whereas, just faving a piece speaks to the concerned
Animals, Plants and Nature 1Animals, Plants & Nature photography can be of the most beautiful landscapes to nothing more than a picture of an emotional dog. Here I'll take a look at some recently submitted nature photographs and share them with you. Enjoy!Animals, Plants and Nature 1 by brennenxr
That's all for this edition! If you have any features you'd like to see here, send a note brennenxr's way.

Save the internet! The companies argue they should be able to do this to allow latency sensitive transfers like VoIP to have low latency, but exec.s have admitted to wanting to abuse the system. Web sites will load faster if the owner pays more money to the telecommnications companies. This is obviously bad for us users and it prevents the Internet from being used the way it was originally intended: free transfer of knowledge and data limited only by the speed of one's hardware.Save the internet! by rg11389
